Note:

In 2014, no Scientometric indices were calculated

1 Refers to the journal’s numerical rank based on its impact factor in the economics journals

2 H-index, or the Hirsch index, is a metric that measures both the scientific productivity and the apparent scientific impact of a researcher/scholar or of a publication indexed in Thomson Reuters. The index is based on the number of the most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in the publications of other scientists.

1The rank is determined based on the CiteScore rankings of a particular year, in the field of Economics, Econometrics and Finance

SNIP - (SNIP – Source Normalized Impact per Paper) measures the impact of the citations of a journal. This is determined by the ratio between a journal’s citations and the total number of citations in the subject field to which the journal belongs. This index gives citations higher value in subject areas where citations are less frequent. SNIP also enables proper comparisons between journals in different scientific fields and in each case the citations are weighted against the total number of citations in the field concerned.

CiteScore (previously known as IPP–Impact per Publication) is an index similar to the Web of Science Impact Factor which measures the impact of citations in the previous three years (by way of comparison, Web of Science takes into account only citations in the previous two years). Therefore, CiteScore is the result of the ratio of citation counts in the year to papers published in years n-1n-2 and n-3.

SJR - SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) is a metric that measures the relative impact of citations of a particular journal. To determine this metric, a wighting of citations is made based on the importance (visibility) of the journal. If the journal is highly ranked and cited may times, then any citation of the articles in this journal will be assigned a value greater than 1. If the journal is low-ranked, then any new citation will be assigned a value less than 1 (the higher the rank of the journal, the more value will acquire any new citation). In practical terms, SJR for the journal in the year is the quotient of weighted citations of the journal for any article published in it in the years n-1n-2 or n-3 by the total number of articles published in the three years mentioned. It is believed that this is a way of assessing the average prestige of an article, which is further used to compare journals within the process of scientific assessment.
